Introduction to the Blogging Life

Welcome to my blog! The purpose of this blog is to keep in touch with family & friends as I am on a crazy journey of becoming a Physician Assistant! My life is filled with Christ first and foremost. My marriage is built upon Jesus, and I hope to share my love through Christ with this blog as well as a little fun and laughter along the way.

I’ve been married going on three years to my best friend, partner in crime, and one true love. Little did I know, 2.5 years later we would be living in separate places, and our careers would be going in different directions (for now).. For now, I am a full time Physician Assistant student at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee! I LOVE school, medicine, and the hard work that comes along with it. However, I am not so thrilled that my hubby and I live in different places, but we have made a choice to sacrifice living apart for a while until I am done with school. My husband is a Farm Bureau Insurance Agent in Tennessee and he has truly been the definition of selfless with me being in school. He has been supportive, and always been a shoulder to cry on during the rough times that school has brought. Anything from grocery shopping to cooking meals, he has done so much since school started. Before accepting my position in the class, we made a decision to live apart and see each other every weekend during this journey. No matter how many exams, projects, papers, ect school can bring in one week, we have made every sacrifice to see each other EVERY SINGLE weekend.. We were not willing to give up our marriage for ANY career. We have just adjusted the best way possible and allowed God to show us the way.. Our journey is not easy, but it is rewarding and we are counting down the days until school is over and we both have careers in the same place.

For now, we have a dog named Tobi, a niece Sarah Kate, and one nephew Liam. We are so in love with our dog and of course our niece and nephew. They are really the LOVES of our life and I know you will see many posts about them throughout the blogging experience.

Blessings to you and your family!

John 15:12-15

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.  Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.  You are my friends if you do what I command.  I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
